Circles of Strength Group 2026

IFS L1 OneSelf Graduate Deepening Together Group

Starting Friday January 30th 2026 13:00-14:30

Throughout this year an incredible group of IFS enthusiasts came together to learn and immerse in the IFS model. I am delighted and excited to offer a rich curriculum to a small group of courageous and curious graduates to explore and deepen knowledge and lived experience of the IFS model.

In our 7 months together, I will share the knowledge I have been gifted by many lead trainers and senior IFS voices as well as my own ā€˜notes from the road’ from being in IFS private practice. Additionally, in this closed workshop format to meet a guest speaker at the edge of IFS innovation, to inspire and inform:

I have greatly developed my sense of Self and Self Energy in my work with non-dual group leader and creator, Sid Friedman. Weaving together the work of Dick Schwartz (IFS) and non-dual teachers such as Rupert Spira, Eckhart Tolle, Loch Kelly and Byron Katie, Sid has fine-tuned an experiential practice to discern and experience Self. Using his innovative ā€˜Effortless IFS Tipping Points’ as way markers, I have invited Sid to come and gently guide us in a practice to bring Self energy and compassion to our parts.

Times & Cost

The group curriculum is designed to be compatible with, but is not, individual IFS therapy, supervision or case/ client consultation. The group is for IFS graduates of OneSelf IFS L1 wishing to deepen knowledge and fluency with the model and to discover what comes to our awareness in exploring the model. The group will be run by an experienced psychodynamic counsellor (OXON, Dip. Dist.), trained to IFS Level 3 with additional trauma (Frank Anderson), addiction (Cece Sykes) and group training (Chris Burris).

Paced to be realistic about what it takes to run a practice, hold our clients, and take good self-care in the process. This group offers space for you once monthly on a Friday lunchtime.

Group Themes & Purpose

The roadmap for our group will be sculpted together and I am looking forward to exploring the areas of interest, themes, or commonalities that present in the formation of the group. To create group continuity, containment and cohesiveness we will spend some time in the first sessions getting clear on the ground group members would like us to cover together. The initial purpose of the group will be to support you as you deepen your understanding of the model through your own experience of the model and exploration of how the IFS model is applied. Ā

Group Terms & Commitments

In joining the group, you commit to the following:

Please arrive five minutes before the session start time to log-in and get settled. To reduce distraction, the meeting will be closed to entry when we start the opening meditation (approximately 5 minutes in).

Absolute confidentiality is a prerequisite, this means:

  • A member’s identity and/or what they say cannot be shared, anonymised or not, in any context outside of the group. To this end, your screen should not be visible or audible to anyone but you.
  • I will not be recording any part of the group process session, ever. Recording, even for your own use, is prohibited.
  • The only exception to this is a recording of mine, or the invited guests’ talk. Should a question be asked from a group member during the talk, the group members’ image and audio will be removed to ensure absolute confidentiality.
  • What I, or any invited guest, say can be taken outside of the group and used in your service.

The space we create will mimic an in-person meeting as closely as possible, for clarification this means:

  • Please set yourself up in a space you will not be interrupted or heard by other people, pets, or devices such as TV, other’s devices etc.
  • If you are in a place where background noise cannot be avoided, please wear headphones.
  • Please do not smoke/ vape or eat a meal during the session. Having a hot or cold drink on the side is fine.

To create safety and connection cameras must be on at all times. Please ā€˜mute’ sound except for when speaking.

We will create a space of safety and mutual respect where you can speak honestly for your experience and all parts of you, without fear of reprimand. To support this, crosstalk and advise giving are to be avoided.

We will aim for an equal spread of time for members across the group. If you are inclined to fill a silence, please be mindful that some need that space before sharing. I may invite a group member to share. You are always welcome to pass.

To ensure we stay close to the core intentions of the group I may interrupt a sharing to bring us back into alignment. I appreciate this is contrary to common courtesy and I will be respectful when I do.

Refund Policy: The group is a closed group and will not invite new joiners in the group term stated. On sign-up you are committing to attending and paying for the full duration. As your place will not be back-filled, refunds are not possible.

Attendance Policy: Life happens! as close to full attendance is requested. Should you miss more than one session in the block we will schedule a call to discuss. If you miss more than one third of the total number of sessions, you will be asked to leave the group. Your place will not be backfilled, and a refund will not be available.
